From VOA Persian: Human rights violations escalate in Iran: 133 executions in one month

A human rights organization, in a detailed report, highlighted the Islamic Republic of Iran's practice of issuing and carrying out death sentences. The report revealed that during the month of Aban (October 23–November 21), at least 133 executions took place, including one public execution. Additionally, 24 new death sentences were issued, and seven previously issued sentences were reaffirmed by the courts during that period.
