Gunmen entered a church service in coastal Kenya Sunday and opened fire on worshippers, killing two people and wounding others.
Witnesses said blood-spattered Bibles and overturned chairs lay strewn across the church floor after the attack near the port city of Mombasa.
There was no immediate claim of responsibility, but the al-Qaida-linked Somali militant group al-Shabab and its Kenya sympathizers have been blamed for similar attacks.
