Hundreds gathered at Cairo's El-mosheir Tantawy mosque on February 26th to pay tribute to the late Egyptian president Hosni Mubarak. Government officials joined the late leader's sons and other family members to honor the man who led the Arab world's most populous nation for three decades. Mubarak, ousted during the 2011 popular uprising known as the Arab Spring, died on Tuesday at the age of 91 from heart and kidney complications. Cairo photojournalist Hamada Elrasam was at Mubarak's funeral ceremony.
