Two attackers in France are dead after they used knives to take several people hostage in a church near Normandy, French security officials said.
Police have confirmed that one hostage was killed during the attack. The motives and identities of the attackers are not yet known.
French Interior Minister Bernard Cazenevue is on his way to the scene of the attack in the town of Saint-Etienne-en-Pouvray, a security official said.
