For Many US Veterans, the Vietnam War Continues
Next week, U.S. President Barack Obama begins a three-day visit to Vietnam, a country in which the United States once stationed more than a half-million troops fighting a bitter conflict that deeply divided American society. More than 40 years after it ended, that war continues to spark debate, especially among those who fought in it. VOA’s Greg Flakus attended a Vietnam War Summit in Austin, Texas, and has this report.
