Children can do more than watch films... they can learn how to produce them. That’s according to Vonnya Pettigrew, the founder of Root Branch Productions and Film Academy. Two years ago, she started a program to teach elementary school students how to make a documentary - an initiative that couldn’t happen without the support of an enthusiastic principal.
