Ferguson Police Make Reforms 2 Years After Riots
The shooting deaths of two African-American men by police officers in Baton Rouge, Louisiana and Falcon Heights, Minnesota in early July 2016 once again put a spotlight on police procedures and training across the United States. Two years ago, protests and rioting rocked Ferguson, Missouri, following the shooting death of an unarmed black man by a white police officer. VOA's Chris Simkins reports from Ferguson on a community still healing while trying to resolve long-standing problems.
