The Afghan government announced it would send a high-ranking delegation to Iran to discuss the issues faced by Afghan refugees and migrants in Iran. Meanwhile, Afghans held protests across Afghanistan to condemn the killing of three Afghans in a car blaze in Iran, which according to officials started after Iranian police shot at the car. This was not the first time Afghans had been targeted in Iran. Last month, Iranian border guards reportedly tortured and drowned dozens of Afghan migrants to prevent their entry into Iran.
