The 13th annual Earth Hour was observed Saturday as nearly 200 major landmarks turned off their lights at 8:30 p.m. local time. The event, organized by the World Wildlife Fund, has grown steadily since the first event in 2007 and is now observed by more than 180 countries and territories.
