American rock band Eagles of Death Metal returned to the stage in Paris Tuesday for their first full concert since terrorists attacked their show three months ago.
The band and concert-goers observed 89 seconds of silence in honor of the 89 people who died November 13 when terrorists stormed the Bataclan concert hall as part of a series of coordinated attacks around Paris. The band's merchandise manager, Nick Alexander, was among those killed but the musicians made it out safely.
Many survivors and families of the victims attended Tuesday's concert. Security was tight, featuring a heavy police presence and body and bag searches.
The band thanked the city and their fans on social media, writing "Vive la musique, vive la liberté, vive la France."
