LIVE BLOG: Obama, Kaine, Biden Make the Case for Hillary Clinton as President

update

The theme for the third day of the Democratic National Convention is "Working Together." Previous speakers included Vice President Joe Biden and Michael Bloomberg.

The crowd starts to chant, "Stronger together!"

Kaine is talking about his upbringing: My parents, Al and Kathy, taught me about hard work, and about kindness, and, most importantly, faith.

He says he wents to a Jesuit high school and it brings a big cheer that even shocks Kaine.

Kaine speaks in Spanish: faith, family and work.

The crowd is excited.

Doing missionary work in Honduras, Kaine said he got a firsthand look at a dictatorship. "It convinced me that we've got to advance opportunity for everyone," he said.
