LIVE BLOG: Obama, Kaine, Biden Make the Case for Hillary Clinton as President

update

The theme for the third day of the Democratic National Convention is "Working Together." Previous speakers included Vice President Joe Biden and Michael Bloomberg.

Bloomberg says he has voted for members of both parties. He looks at the candidate, not the party.

He says he doesn't agree with Hillary Clinton on everything, but he can put differences aside.

He said they must elect a candidate who can defeat a dangerous demagogue. The crowd cheers.

Bloomberg says, "We need a president who is a problem-solver not a bomb thrower."

He was elected New York mayor two months after the 9/11 terror attack. He says he got to know Hillary Clinton during that period.

Michael Bloomberg, swiping at Trump: “I built a business, and I didn’t start it with a million-dollar check from my father."

Bloomberg refers to Trump's several bankruptcies. "Trump says he wants to run the country like a business, God help us," which elicits cheers from the crowd.
