LIVE BLOG: Obama, Kaine, Biden Make the Case for Hillary Clinton as President

update

The theme for the third day of the Democratic National Convention is "Working Together." Previous speakers included Vice President Joe Biden and Michael Bloomberg.

Brooks Bell, a tech entrepreneur owner from North Carolina, speaks of her struggle as a small-business owner. Starting her own business, "It's given me the scars that I know many entrepreneurs share. I believe in Hillary, because I know she also carries battle scars."

Bell said she is "terrified if we elect (Donald) Trump."

She discusses the effect the "North Carolina bathroom bill" -- which was called a "pioneer in bigotry" -- has had on the state economy.

What does this have to do with Trump? He chose Mike Pence as his running mate. Pence has signed a similar bill in Indiana.

New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio says he knows both candidates -- Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump -- but "despite sharing a home state, the two are worlds apart."
