The theme for the third day of the Democratic National Convention is "Working Together." Previous speakers included Vice President Joe Biden and Michael Bloomberg.

Congresswoman Maxine Waters of California begins by saying, as a member of the platform committee, she thanks Bernie Sanders for his effect on the platform. That draws loud cheers.

Waters says a lot of members of Congress have been intimidated by the NRA, but that Hillary Clinton is not.

Ilyse Hogue, president of pro-choice NARAL, said it's not as easy as bad girls have abortions and good girls have families. "We are the same women."
