The theme for the third day of the Democratic National Convention is "Working Together." Previous speakers included Vice President Joe Biden and Michael Bloomberg.

Belkofer tells the story of how she met President Obama.

She says she decided at the age of 73 to run for the local school board. Many in the crowd stand and applaud.

The next speaker is Sharon Belkofer, who is introducing President Barack Obama.

Her comment of, 'you're probably wondering who is this sweet little old lady," is greeted with laughter and cheers.

Belkofer is the mother of Lt. Col. Thomas Belkofer, who was killed while serving in Afghanistan.

After finishing his speech, Kaine runs down to say hello to the Virginia delegation, which is sitting close to the stage. His wife then joins him onstage, Anne,
