LIVE BLOG: Obama, Kaine, Biden Make the Case for Hillary Clinton as President

update

The theme for the third day of the Democratic National Convention is "Working Together." Previous speakers included Vice President Joe Biden and Michael Bloomberg.

And then the crowd is quieted.

Panetta is ending by saying the troops, America's greatest national treasure, deserve a strong commander in chief.

Panetta says for the sake of his children and grandchildren, "Donald Trump cannot become our commander in chief."

Some in the crowd are still chanting, "No more war!"

Some in the crowd are chanting, "Lies," while more of the crowd is chanting "U.S.A.!"

Panetta is comparing Hillary Clinton's foreign experience to Donald Trump's.

"Hillary Clinton is the only candidate who has laid out a comprehensive plan to defeat and destroy ISIS and keep America safe. ... Meanwhile, Donald Trump says he gets his foreign policy experience from watching TV and running the Miss Universe Pageant. If only it were funny. It is deadly serious," he says.

Crowd begins to chant, "No more war!"

Panetta brings up the news from earlier Wednesday where Trump urged Russia to launch a cyberattack on the U.S.

The crowd boos.
