DACA Stalemate Continues on Capitol Hill

A program benefiting young undocumented immigrants in America formally ended Monday, leaving them at risk of deportation pending the outcome of federal court battles. VOA's Michael Bowman reports, President Donald Trump and lawmakers of both parties say so-called "Dreamers" deserve permanent legal status, but Republican leaders in Congress are in no hurry to reconsider the issue after the Senate rejected a flurry of immigration proposals last month.
