Climate Change Impacts Linger After Devastating Year in Louisiana
update
The effects of climate change are expected to push more than 200 million people from their homes by 2050, according to the World Bank. VOA’s Steve Baragona reports from the state’s coastal southwest, where the damage has devastated the local economy and led to a drop in population.
