Child Marriage Remains Widespread, Impacts Girls' Quality of Life
Child marriage is a human rights violation. But even though unlawful, the practice remains widespread, in part because of persistent poverty and gender inequality. In Kosovo, this practice is found especially among the Roma, Ashkali and Egyptian communities. Edlira Bllaca of VOA's Albanian service filed this report from Fushë Kosova in Kosovo.
