Anti-IS Ground Forces Debated on Capitol Hill

The Obama administration says it is boosting military pressure on Islamic State militants but remains opposed to deploying any substantial U.S. combat force in Iraq or Syria despite the demonstrated ability of IS to inspire terror on American soil. Secretary of Defense Ash Carter testified on the matter before the Senate Armed Services Committee on Wednesday. VOA’s Michael Bowman reports.
