Since 2013 nearly 50 communities of faith from the east coast state of Maryland have joined to plant 10,000 trees. What these communities have in common is respect for the creator and a commitment to protect the Earth. The work helps reverse the trend of tree loss in Maryland. It is also helping to prevent polluted runoff from entering the Chesapeake Bay, the nation’s largest estuary.
