Burmese officials say President Thein Sein left Rangoon Sunday on a four-day trip to Britain and France.

The Burmese leader is expected to meet Monday with British Prime Minister David Cameron in London.

Britain's Independent newspaper said Sunday that Cameron is expected to announce new trade deals with Burma during the meeting at his Downing Street residence.

Thein Sein visited several European countries in February, but not Britain or France.
