Baltimore Nonprofit's Volunteers Transform Lives, Build Community
For more than a decade, a group called "Thread" has been helping young people go after their goals in life. The Baltimore nonprofit runs a mentoring program in which volunteers help high school students with anything — from doing laundry to getting tutoring to finding a job.
