Pakistani officials say gunmen have attacked a tanker carrying fuel for NATO troops in Afghanistan, killing the truck driver.
The incident happened Monday in the Jamrud area of Pakistan's restive northwestern Khyber tribal region.
NATO supply trucks frequently come under attack on the trip between Pakistan and Afghanistan, especially now that the international coalition is withdrawing large numbers of troops and equipment as it winds down operations in Afghanistan. International combat troops are to be out of the country by the end of the year.
