Venezuelan Health authorities say 37 people have been treated for cholera after attending a family celebration last week in the Dominican Republic.
Health Minister Eugenia Sader said Thursday all of the victims are doing well.
Twelve other Venezuelans remained in the Dominican Republic for medical treatment.
Sader is urging more than 400 others who traveled to the Dominican Republic for the family wedding to get tested.
Cholera is relatively easy to treat if it is diagnosed quickly, but without treatment, dehydration can cause death within hours.
Cholera spread through Haiti beginning in October, and nearly 4,000 people have died since then. Poor sanitation conditions following last year's devastating earthquake are still widespread in Haiti, which shares the island of Hispaniola with the Dominican Republic.
More than 200 cases of cholera have been reported in the Dominican Republic, and one victim has died.
