Air Force General to VOA: 'We Can't Produce the Sorties'

Earlier, VOA reported to you that the U.S. Air Force has too few fighter squadrons to meet the commander's needs abroad. But there’s a second crisis that’s hitting hard at home: a shortage of maintainers, or mechanics, needed to keep the Air Force planes going.
