African School of Physics Program Aims to Launch More Science Careers
Particle physicist Ketevi Assamagan strives to bring science education to young people in his native Africa through a traveling program known as the African School of Fundamental Physics and Applications, which he co-founded. "Sometimes, people just need some help to be able to find the right resources," says Assamagan, who works at the U.S. Energy Department's Brookhaven National Laboratory on New York's Long Island.
