African-American History Museum Prepares to Open

The newest Smithsonian museum is set to open to the public Sept. 24 in Washington, D.C. It will be the first national museum devoted exclusively to African-American history and culture. A campaign has been underway for at least eight years to obtain artifacts, documents and other items for its permanent collection. VOA's Chris Simkins has more on the story.
