Afghan Villagers Use Live Rockets to Build Homes, Bridges
Dozens of Afghan families in a small village in northern Afghanistan's Balkh province are living in homes where rockets are used as ceiling beams. The villagers have been using live rockets to build one- and two-story buildings. Some have lived under roofs made with live ammunitions for almost 20 years. After a few explosions, the villagers asked the government to remove the rockets. VOA's Mirwais Bezhan reports from Balkh.
