Syrian activist groups say raids by government warplanes on a rebel-held suburb of the capital, Damascus, have killed at least 20 people.
The Britain-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said women and children were among the casualties in Thursday's raid on the suburb of Hammouriyeh.
Dozens of other people were wounded, according to activists on the ground.
Government warplanes and helicopter gunships often attack opposition-held suburbs of Damascus, a stronghold of Syrian President Bashar al-Aassad.
