The family of Brad Delp says his death was a suicide. The 55-year-old Delp, who sang in the multi-million-selling rock band Boston, was found March 9 by his fiancee at his home in the northeastern state of New Hampshire.
Toxicology tests by the state medical examiner's office confirmed he committed suicide by sealing himself inside a bathroom with two charcoal grills. He died from carbon monoxide poisoning.
Delp left two notes taped to a door, along with letters to his family and his fiancee, Pamela Sullivan.
A police representative says the contents of the letters are not known. Brad Delp's family is reportedly planning a public memorial.
