Sri Lanka's cricket team has reached 384-6 by the end of play on the second day of its third test match against England in Galle.
Mahela Jayawardene led the home side with 149 runs, while Tillakaratne Dilshan had 84 runs in Sri Lanka's first innings. Jayawardene had 15 fours in his time at the crease while Dilshan had 11 fours before he was run out.
Jayawardene also passed Aravinda Da Silva to become Sri Lanka's leading test century maker. Jayawardene scored his 21st hundred to pass Da Silva's career total of 20 Test centuries.
English Bowler Steve Harmison led the English bowlers with 3-72.
Sri Lanka leads the three-test series 1-0 after winning the first test in Kandy by 88 runs. The second test was a draw. England needs a win to level the series or it will drop to fifth in the world in the International Cricket Council Test Rankings.
This test holds special significance for Sri Lanka - it is the first test match played in Galle since the 2004 tsunami devastated the area.
