A Turkish passenger plane has crashed in southwestern Turkey, killing all 57 people onboard.
Airline officials say rescue teams reached the crash site and reported there were no survivors.
The privately operated AtlasJetair jetliner, with 50 passengers and seven crew members, crashed early Friday in a mountainous region near the city of Isparta, shortly after the pilot reported that he was preparing to land at the city's airport.
Officials say there was no indication of any technical problem and that weather and visibility were good.
Turkey's civil aviation authorities say investigators have recovered the plane's flight data and cockpit voice recorders (black boxes), which could help determine the cause of the crash. The ministry says the plane went down only a short distance - about 11-kilometers - from the runway.
The McDonnell Douglas MD-83 plane was on a flight from Istanbul to Isparta, about 150-kilometers north of the Mediterranean resort of Antalya.
