Angolan President Meets Cuba's Castro

Angolan President Jose Eduardo dos Santos has met in Havanna with Cuban leader Fidel Castro to discuss Cuba's role in Africa.

The two presidents met Saturday for more than an hour, and spoke about the current situations in their countries and opportunities to boost relations.

Mr. Castro has not appeared in public since July of 2006, when he handed over power to his brother Raul before undergoing intestinal surgery.

The Cuban leader seized power in a 1959 revolution.
