A group led by Iranian Nobel Peace Prize Laureate Shirin Ebadi has accused Iranian authorities of human rights abuses against labor activists, women, and students.
Ebadi heads the Defenders of Human Rights Center which says labor advocates have been summoned to court for their activities in recent months. Last March teachers demanding pay raises staged three demonstrations outside parliament.
The report also criticizes the Iranian government for its increased pressure on women's rights activists and on university students. The report says the government has deprived students of an education.
The report is also critical of Iran's government for ordering executions for crimes committed by people under the age of 18.
