Jada Pinkett-Smith says Katie Holmes is no shrinking violet.
Speaking to People.com, the 35-year-old actress says Holmes is an equal partner with her husband, actor Tom Cruise. She denies tabloid reports that the 28-year-old Holmes is a prisoner in her own home, and is dominated by her 44-year-old superstar husband.
Pinkett-Smith says "It burns my soul - I see her in the house with Tom; he doesn't have that on her! Let me tell you, Kate ain't no little wimpy kitty cat."
Jada Pinkett-Smith and her actor husband Will Smith are good friends of Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes. Last year, they attended the couple's lavish wedding in Italy.
