Avril Lavigne and her husband have bought a home in the upscale Los Angeles neighborhood of Bel-Air.
The Los Angeles Times reports the 22-year-old pop-rock singer and her husband, Derek Whibley of the Canadian rock band Sum-41, paid about $9.5 million for their new home.
Boasting eight bedrooms and 10 and one-half bathrooms, the three-story house also has an elevator, sauna, and garage space for 10 cars.
Avril Lavigne, whose worldwide record sales top 26 million, was last year ranked the seventh most powerful Canadian in Hollywood by Canadian Business Magazine.
Her third album, The Best Damn Thing, appears April 17 in the United States.
