Nuclear rivals Pakistan and India have exchanged lists of their nuclear installations and facilities.
Pakistan's Foreign Ministry says in a statement that Islamabad and New Delhi Sunday swapped the information under a 1988 agreement in which they promised not to attack such installations.
The two countries have been exchanging such lists each New Year's Day since 1992.
The nuclear-armed neighbors have a history of bitter relations. They have fought three wars since independence from Britain in 1947, two of them over the Himalayan region of Kashmir.
But in January 2004 they began a series of peace talks aimed at resolving all their disputes, including the Kashmir issue.
