Osama bin Laden's deputy has called for attacks on oil installations in Muslim nations, saying most of the oil revenues go to "the enemies of Islam."
Ayman al-Zawahiri made the call in a video posted on the Internet Wednesday. Arabic broadcaster al-Jazeera said the footage is the full version of a video by the al-Qaida deputy that was issued in September. Only excerpts of the tape were aired at the time.
Initial news reports had described Tuesday's posting as a new tape, but al-Jazeera acknowledged there had been a misunderstanding.
In the tape, Ayman al-Zawahiri said the situation in Iraq is "a catastrophe" for America and predicted that it is only a matter of time before U.S. troops pull out of the country.
