Current plans call for 18 holes to be played on both Saturday and Sunday, and a 36-hole finals Monday. Organizers had hoped to start the first round Friday afternoon, but rain at the TPC at Sugarloaf in Duluth made play impossible.
Reigning Masters champion Phil Mickelson leads the field, along with U.S. Open champion and world number five Retief Goosen of South Africa and defending champion Zach Johnson of the United States.
The tournament is the last PGA Tour event before the first major tournament of the year, the Masters, which gets under way next week in Augusta, Georgia.
