Coronavirus Pandemic Increases Economic Divide Between Rich and Poor Nations
Virtually every country in the world is suffering a severe economic downturn because of the coronavirus pandemic, but some nations have so far fared better than others in mitigating the impact on businesses and workers. VOA’s Brian Padden reports that advanced countries that have moved aggressively to contain the outbreak are coping better economically, while developing nations lacking resources to protect the vulnerable are most at risk.
